So here’s the truth:

When your passion burns hotter than the limits people set on you, sometimes you gotta take things into your own hands and do it differently. That’s tough and risky, but it’s the only way to burn the brightest. That’s modus operandi for Wildfire Ink.

We’re a brand new digital-first indie publisher throwing down bold characters and panels that hit you hard. But the real deal is quality: we’re crafting high-level storytelling that’s built to last. With years of experience as writers, artists, and editors, we honed our skills for this moment.

The thing is, no one said it was gonna be easy. We ignited our movement with three original launch titles: Thunder, Reap Reign Maze, and OGYRI. Now it’s up to you to transform this ember of a comic label into a flash fire.

The Power of Three

Wildfire Ink is the brainchild of three indie creators who went from best friends to mortal enem-- I mean creative partners. Michael Sanchez (CEO), Jordan Di Renzo (COO/Editorial Director), and Tyler Villano Maron (CCO/Creative Director) have worked knee-deep in the comic book space for the better part of a decade.

Inspired by anime and manga of our youth, the three of us pool together years of experience to push our underdog of a publisher through the proving grounds of the industry.

Yeah, Michael filed the docs and we made a cute LLC, but our real goal is to ignite a creative movement and form a community of readers and creators alike. A blazing one.

We’re a brand new grassroots digital publisher based in NYC with a whopping staff of 3! Because our digital manga and comics are offered free-to-read on the site, we humbly encourage you to help us grow by following us on Instagram and sharing Wildfire and our series with friends and on social media.

So how do y’all make money?

“That’s the neat part, you don’t.” Okay, seriously speaking: in addition to the Kickstarters we run, we’re launching a web shop in November where you can buy merch and support our series. And a Patreon is in the works where our truest believers can support Team Wildfire and get awesome behind-the-scenes and advance supporter perks. Until then... thanks, Michael!

Do you take submissions?

Wildfire Ink is all about doing things right the first time. And that takes patience: no shortcuts. We ponied up our three original IPs as test subjects to find the right groove for publishing and marketing. Once we’re confident we have the bandwidth to treat your indie series with the love and care it deserves, we’ll open up submissions, and announce when we do on our socials.

And you can help us get there! Share our manga and comics with your friends and spread the word on social media. The more support we have, the closer we get to reading and onboarding your handsome submission.
